Story
A creation of the evil “Isoc” made using a form of the bio-mechanical Limited. Originally sent out to find the data of a powerful warrior, she met an untimely end when she succeeded, the Limited in her body erasing her mind and body to morph into a new shape based on the warrior’s data.
This would have been Saktira’s final fate, had the villainous trio “Team Mecha” not desired to learn the power of Limited themselves; they found a way to revive Saktira, modifying her body so it wouldn’t be affected by absorbing data as it was before…and then cast her aside, seeing no use for her beyond a small step in a bigger plan for conquest.
Left to her own devices, Saktira wandered somewhat aimlessly for a while, though through dire events, she would find brief allies turn into decent acquaintances, being on good terms with folks such as the crafty engineer Tinker Knight and the laid-back sitar-playing Demyx.
That said, she didn’t really know what to do with her life when not gearing up for imminent disaster, and in some ways she took the world for granted until a sudden encounter that gave her knowledge of worlds she struggled to comprehend…ours. With help from the cheery yet wise Kogasa on how to handle this awareness of “breaking the fourth wall”, she faced her inner (and outer) demons, and while she still spends her time wandering the world, she does so with a greater appreciation for it.

Behind the Scenes
When I first introduced Saktira CC, I actually wanted to find a way for her experiences to impact another character of mine who I felt had been underdeveloped for a while: Schmitt. I figured with Saktira and Schmitt having similar official stories as major minions whose bodies were overtaken by another force, they’d find something to connect over…but they didn’t, and Saktira languished in my cast for a little while herself, not really having clear motives or morals to rely on besides “stop the bad guys when they show up, I guess”.
At some point, I noticed how I was making a pattern of sorts for myself with how I was inventing stories that fleshed out once-shallow characters (like the “Mack in Town” stories for Mack, or “Ceasefire” for Schmitt), and eventually I wanted to focus on that kind of “day in the limelight” story for Saktira, which led me to inventing the story “Dark Side of the Wall”, where Saktira was forcibly exposed to knowledge outside of the fictional setting of Chaos Zone, giving her an existential crisis that made her want to shove people away. While I’m not sure how satisfied I feel with the middle of that story, I feel I managed to give Saktira at least a little bit more character by the end, and even if I don’t consider her a major player in my cast, I still feel like she’s found a place where she belongs.
