Stories
Here you’ll find compilations of the stories I’ve written in The Chaos Zone.
The writing is a mix of text-based and visual; all dialogue and most events are written in text, but images of the characters are used to indicate who’s talking and how they feel, and sometimes images are even used to visualize events.
Scenes will often mark where they take place (most of all when the location changes) with a colored block containing large text inside with the name of the location (as well as further specifics if necessary, including the day, or a more specific part of a larger location). Colored blocks with large text are also used to signify when a character has made their first appearance, or when a character is revealing themselves after a long absence.
Lastly, I use several forms of emphasis based on the formatting abilities of the Mega Man RPG Prototype site: Bold text, italic text, underlined text, TEXT IN ALL CAPS, and large text are all ways I may indicate emphasis on dialogue (such as a character speaking very seriously or loudly). If a character uses all-caps all the time, it’s not a sign of emphasis, but rather a sign that they have an electronic, metallic, or otherwise robotic sound to their voice.
In parentheses below are the characters of mine who serve major roles in each story. The first instance of each character links to their character page if they have one. If their name is in bold, that means it’s the first story I ever wrote with that character in it.
